Today the first snowflake has fallen down
breathing the cold air in and out for now.
Once again an other season has come
Still we haven’t forgot what made us numb.
Falling on the road that turned into ice.
We were to young to know, the lake froze that night.
Eyes closed and we still see the August tree.
Memories don’t go away , we aren’t free.
Now awake through this December night
The white blanket covered our sight
Waiting for the next season to come
Seasons that made us numb.
